About the Greater New Haven Bioscience Collaborative
The Greater New Haven Bioscience Collaborative, a Regional Sector Partnership formed out of the Governor’s Workforce Council in partnership with the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, helps to bring awareness to the resources and workforce available in Greater New Haven for bioscience companies. The Collaborative is working to advance a sustainable bioscience workforce and career opportunities through active engagement with industry leaders and community partners. The Collaborative has developed direct access to students through our career awareness program and active connections with our statewide university system. Our national internship program, Life-Science SRINTS, now in its third year has brought in over 450 students to New Haven.

Life-Science SPRINTS
Connecticut bioscience companies have come together to launch the SPRINT (Student Program to Ready Interns for Next-generation Talent) Internship program. The goal for the 2024 Program is to provide over 200 paid job opportunities in the life-science industry for students attending Connecticut Colleges and Universities as well as students with ties to Connecticut.
The purpose of the Life-Science Sprints campaign is to help bring awareness to the resources and workforce available in Connecticut for life-science companies. We hope that this initiative will grow our current community and position Connecticut as a leader in this field.
