A growing industry

Life-Science in Connecticut

In 2021, the Governor’s Workforce Council launched the Bioscience Collaborative to cultivate and promote the benefits of Connecticut as a prominent region for bioscience growth and development. The Collaborative is an industry led group with CEO leadership from Alexion AstraZeneca, Ancera, Arvinas, Biohaven Pharmaceutical, Biorez, Cybrexa Therapeutics, Rallybio, ReNetX Bio, Trevi Therapeutics, and more. The Collaborative partnered with initiatives across Connecticut to advance this mission including BioPath, CTNext, BioCT, Yale University, and local universities.

The purpose of the Life-Science Sprints campaign is to help bring awareness to the resources and workforce available in Connecticut for life-science companies. We hope that this initiative will grow our current community and position Connecticut as a leader in this field.
